Today I am going to get neon pink highlights.
Why? -well, it's very simple. My mother would not allow me to dye my whole head pink.
That's not the true reason though. What I intend to with my new-found color is to record people's reactions to the difference in my appearance -strangers, friends, family.
Currently, I am quite sure that most people view me as a nice, conservative girl who is fairly quiet and has her weird quirks just the same as every one else. I have 4.8 this year thanks to my AP classes and honors classes and am 4th in my class out of 525. It will be interesting to see what people think when they see me after my hair appointment.
What the above all boils down to is that this blog will be my record of adventures and mishaps with my hair. You could call it a kind of social experiment.
